Pumpkins, princesses and trick-or-treating, Bali-style! Halloween isn't a Balinese tradition, but Bali's families do it in a big, happy way. Here's every kids' Halloween event we know of this year, from trick-or-treating at Milk & Madu to a haunted treehouse brunch in Legian, plus the cutest costumes and a few tips for Halloween in the heat.

Bali Halloween Shop is Bali's dedicated Halloween superstore, right on the Canggu Shortcut. Kids' costumes, face paint, tattoos, wings, horns and accessories, plus hand fans and parasols for the grown-ups.
Open daily, 9am to 11pm. Mornings are the quietest time to bring the kids in, and our team loves a little monster!
Yes. Milk & Madu's Madu Funhouse runs in Canggu on Saturday 24 October and in Uluwatu on Saturday 31 October. Parklife in Canggu has a Halloween party on 31 October, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua hosts a Halloween dinner on 31 October and a gothic brunch on 1 November, and Azul Beach Club in Legian has a Haunted Treehouse Brunch with trick-or-treating on Sunday 1 November.
Not door to door, as Halloween isn't a Balinese tradition, but several family events run organised trick-or-treating, including Milk & Madu's Madu Funhouse, Azul Beach Club's Haunted Treehouse Brunch around Bali Mandira, and the Halloween dinner at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua.
Bali Halloween Shop on the Canggu Shortcut has costumes for toddlers, kids and big kids, including K-pop Demon Hunters, plus face paint, tattoos and accessories. Open daily from 9am to 11pm through October. You can also order on WhatsApp and have a Gojek collect.
